Survivor’s Jennifer Lyon has lost her battle with breast cancer. She was only 37 years old. Jennifer knew that with terminal cancer, she didn’t have very long to live, so she tried to do her best to raise money for the Susan Love Cancer Research Foundation. Her friend Jeff Probst helped her a lot in this endeavor.
Jennifer Lyon shared the highs and her lows with Jeff, and he recollects that her family was constantly on the lookout for treatment for her illness. This Christmas season, she opened a Christmas tree lot, so that she could enjoy the festive season, for as long as possible. She donated all the profits, she made to the Susan Love Cancer Research Foundation.
Jennifer knew that she had very little time left with her loved ones, so she didn’t believe in wasting time and tried to live her life to the fullest. Jeff says that she opened her heart out to him, and spoke about how she was coping with terminal cancer.
Her sister Kim Lyon says that, “Jenn worked so hard on the lot and they were kind of bummed they didn’t make much money off of it so if anyone wants to honor Jenn they can make a donation to the foundation. She would be touched.”
