Canadian/American actress Pamela Anderson, is set to bring some of her own skimpy swimwear range, Muse, co-designed by Richie Rich, into New Zealand fashion week this September. The new label is “eco animal-friendly” in keeping with Anderson’s vegetarian and pro-animal rights stance.
But Anderson’s Miami publicist Brian Long, who brokered the deal, said he wonders whether New Zealand, with its “relaxed approach” to celebrity, was ready for the blonde bombshell.
“New Zealand has not always embraced the celebrity thing like other fashion weeks do around the world so it is a little bit out of the ordinary,” the Couriermail quoted Long as telling the Dominion Post newspaper.
Auckland is the third stop in the schedule for the range of environmentally sensitive women’s shoes and tiny togs, to be unveiled at New York fashion week in early September.
