If one sees Padma Laxmi in this ad, one would pray like a maniac to be turned into a burger. The things gorgeous Padma does with a beef-burger has not even been attempted by Bollywood actors in intimate scenes!

In Hardee’s commercial, Lakshmi saunters through a market, running her shapely fingers through spices and such like. After confessing “I’ve tasted every flavour imaginable”, she sits down on a flight of stairs and starts to eat a burger - in a way that appears to be making out with the food. She hitches up her skirt to reveal her thigh, while the meat threatens to fall into her cleavage. A lustful Lakshmi then licks sauce off her slender arm in a come-hither manner.

Ad-guru Prahlad Kakkar is all praise. He gushes, “Only Padma Lakshmi could have done this,” says ad man Prahlad Kakkar.

Jade Goody too ill to receive Shilpa's visit

Jade Goody is too sick for a visit from Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty, her publicist Max Clifford has said.

The Indian star wanted to see her terminally ill friend this week, after missing her wedding due to filming commitments.

However, Clifford said: “She is not well. Shilpa totally understands that.”

Goody’s condition deteriorated over the weekend, after she left hospital to spend more time with her two sons.

“She has put her house in order and faced up to everything in an incredibly brave way,” The BBC quoted him, as saying.

Goody, 27, sparked uproar when she taunted Shetty on TV’s “Celebrity Big Brother” in 2007, calling her “Shilpa Poppadom” but the two patched things up, and the Briton later appeared on India’s version of the programme.
