Mariah Carey to star in West End play next spring?

According to sources, Mariah Carey has been in the British capital for a series of meetings with a top theatre producer who has now offered her a 15,000-pound-a-week contract to play on stage.

“Mariah’s done a bit of acting in her time but nothing on this scale, she will make her stage debut next spring.” the Mirror quoted a source as saying.

“And although there’s been talk of musicals, Mariah has always wanted to star in a play so this really is a dream come true,” the source added.

Mariah Carey has reportedly been making rounds at a renowned fertility clinic in Beverly Hills, California.

The megastar, along with her hubby Nick Cannon, was spotted coming out of the Southern California Reproductive Center, where they were said to have met a prenatal expert, reports China Daily.

The 38-year-old singer had previously revealed that she wanted to become a mum and found the consistent pregnancy rumours exhaustive.

"I don`t like to talk about it too much. I just think about it as the next phase", she said.

"I`ve changed my mind about becoming a mother because I`m with `The One`".
